Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is an excellent complement to physical therapy, chiropractic adjustments, and acupuncture, as well as Eastern and Western medicine. It's not, however, a one and done cure for pain. Multiple visits, often in a series that tapers as the client progresses, will produce the best outcome. Effectiveness will increase the more chances your therapist has to familiarize with how your muscles respond to treatments.
During your first session, we will discuss your physical health. If you have a diagnosis from a doctor, an injury, or acute pain, we’ll conduct a mobility analysis to make sure we’re targeting the right muscles. Your therapist will reach out to your health care professionals, with your permission, to share notes and collaborate our treatments for faster recovery.
Sports and Orthopedic Massage
Expand movement and decrease pain using a variety of massage techniques including Deep Swedish, Pinning and Stretching, Passive and Active-Assisted Range of Motion, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Myoskeletal Alignment and Cupping. Therapists summarize and reflect on each treatment with quantifiable results.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Defined as the manual facilitation of transporting lymph in the direction of the body's main collectors; therefore expediting the waste removal as well as healing process. It is ideal for those with chronic swelling conditions such as lymphedema, as well as a variety of other conditions.
